Refunds & Cancellation

Summary
- Sarenica Desktop is free forever. Nothing to cancel.
- Hydrogen Monthly is a recurring subscription. You can cancel anytime from your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- All purchases are final and non-refundable, except where a refund is required by applicable law.
- Cancelling Hydrogen does not delete your data and does not stop free desktop tracking.
How to cancel Hydrogen Monthly
- Sign in to your Sarenica account.
- Go to Account → Billing.
- Click "Open billing portal". This opens the secure customer portal hosted by our payment provider, Paddle.
- In the portal, choose Cancel subscription and follow the prompts.
You will receive a confirmation email from Paddle. Your subscription remains active and you keep full Hydrogen access until the end of the current billing period. After that, Hydrogen features pause automatically and you stop being charged.
What happens to your data
- Free desktop tracking continues to work after cancellation. The Windows tracker, local dashboard, and trends keep running.
- Your historical conversations, reports, and synced signals are preserved. If you re-subscribe later, your history is still there.
- Account deletion is separate from cancellation. If you also want your server-side data removed, request deletion from within the app or email support. Data is removed within 30 days, subject to backup and legal-hold exceptions.
Refund policy
All sales are final. Sarenica does not offer voluntary refunds for Hydrogen Monthly subscriptions or any other purchases. To help you evaluate the product before paying:
- Sarenica Desktop is free forever and requires no card.
- A free public Hydrogen demo is available on our marketing site so you can try the agent before subscribing.
- You can cancel before any future renewal at no charge.
Where applicable consumer-protection law (for example, EU/UK distance-selling rules) requires a refund, we will honour those statutory rights. If you believe you are entitled to a refund under applicable law, contact us at support@sarenica.com with your order details.
Failed payments and involuntary cancellation
If a renewal payment fails, Paddle may retry the charge automatically for a short period. If the payment cannot be collected, your Hydrogen Monthly subscription will be cancelled and Hydrogen features will pause. Free desktop tracking continues regardless. You can re-subscribe anytime from the pricing page.
Price changes
We may change the price of Hydrogen Monthly at any time. For active subscriptions, any material price increase will be communicated before it takes effect on your next renewal, so you have a chance to cancel before the new price applies.
Disputes and chargebacks
Please contact us first if something looks wrong on your statement — most billing issues are resolved within one business day by email. Initiating a chargeback without giving us a chance to help may lead to account suspension and additional fees from the payment provider, which we may pass on where permitted by law.
